Spring has officially arrived, and it feels like the whole of Bristol is taking a big cat stretch in the sun. It is my favourite time of year: the pops of colour in nature, those beautifully fresh mornings that turn into lovely warm afternoons, and of course the lighter evenings (and mornings for the early risers among us).
For those of us working in public-facing roles, it is not only the evenings that are lighter, but people’s moods too. All these seemingly small things add up to create that wonderful sense of restoration as winter subsides and our energy is lifted once again.
Spring things that are happening at Coffee Club:
- From 1st April, our hours on The Marina will change as we start closing later, at 4pm.
- Forest Bakery have brought back their seasonal special from last year, the incredibly popular Lemon & Raspberry danish
- Our 2026 S/S specials will launch on 1st April (no, this is not an April Fools’ joke). This year they’re looking fruity, fizzy, and colourful.
- Gather your work wives because Chow Down Fridays will return from Friday 10th April. You’ll be chowing down on Pura Vida’s tacos, Moroji’s East Asian cuisine, and of course the legendary Coffee Club pub will return. To top it off, DJ DOD and his brother LOD will be spinning summertime tunes to get you in the Fri-yay mood. 5–9pm. See you there!
