And so, The Coffee Club journey kicked off in 2019 back in our hometown of Bristol with a DIY horsebox conversion, a mission to work with likeminded Bristol based suppliers (shout out to Extract Coffee, Forest Bakery & Bosh Kitchen) and plans to combine our shared love of music with cafe culture.
After an unsuccessful summer of events rounded off by a turf war (it’s a long story) we eventually secured our permanent home on the Bristol Marina in 2020. Finally, we could begin building a community around our tasty brews and banging soundtracks. Five years later, things have evolved. We’ve swapped the horsebox for a converted shipping
container, opened a second site in a pair of airstream caravans at Paintworks (BS4) and a legendary team of baristas have joined in the madness; Mabel, Clara, Ruby, Ava, Soph and Izzy have undoubtedly made the CC vibe even more magical.
In 2024, we tried to grow again, this time into a brick-and-mortar café with space for live music. Sadly it didn’t work out but we learned a lot and came back to what we do best.
